A few weeks ago, we watched what has to be one of the scariest new Doctor Who episodes - Blink. It is based upon a short story, written by Steven Moffat (who also wrote the TV episode).

I won't go into the story line except to say that it's a brilliant and clever episode. It ranks up there with The Girl in the Fireplace (my absolutely favourite episode) and The Empty Child (Are you my mummy? - this episode freaked me out!).

Moffat has a way of taking the ordinary and making it delightfully scary. I can never look at weeping angel statues in the same way, ever.
